COLATAN CF2wp “liquid” is a chemically modified tannin, specifically developed to be used as a starch additive to provide both, high water resistance and “green bond” properties, when applied to corrugated cardboard. |

Advantages: |

- Becomes insoluble only at high pressure and temperature
- Substantially increase of water resistance
- Its adhesive features do not alter the adherence capabilities of the final adhesive
- Works in a wide range of pHs

- Free formaldehyde only 0 up to 0,06 %
- Substantially increases the speed machine

Properties: |

- COLATAN CF2wp gives high water resistance values under FEFCO No.9 standard, specially in the case of corrugated boxes to environments with high relative humidity (i.e. cold storage rooms)
- Speed machine can be increased substancially
|

Dosage: |
|
|
- Add between 4 – 5 % CF2wp. This percentage correspond to the total solids present in the secondary tank slurry. Use as any other adhesive. No special facilities or treatments are necessary for Colatan CF2wp.

COLATAN CF2 “liquid as well as powder” is a chemically modified tannin specifically developed to be used as a starch additive to provide excellent “green bond” and better water resistance properties, when applied to corrugated cardboard. |

- Add between 3 – 5 % CF2. This percentage correspond to the total solids present in the secondary tank slurry. Use as any other adhesive. No special facilities or treatments are necessary for Colatan CF2.
